Laura Newbern

Laura Newbern’s second collection, A Night in the Country (Changes Press, March 2024), was selected by Louise Glück as Winner of the 2023 Changes Book Prize. Love and the Eye was chosen by Claudia Rankine to receive the 2010 Kore Press First Book Award. Her poems have appeared in The Atlantic, The Threepenny Review, Poetry, and The Georgia Review, among others. She grew up in Washington, D.C., and currently lives and works in Georgia.
