Amy Leach's debut collection of essays, Things That Are, was published by Milkweed Editions in 2012. Her second book, The Everybody Ensemble: Donkeys, Essays, and Other Pandemoniums was published by FSG in 2021. Her most recent collection, The Salt of the Universe: Praise, Songs, and Improvisations, was published by FSG in 2024. She's the recipient of a 2010 Whiting Writer's Award.
