Emily Rapp Black

Emily Rapp Black is the author of Sanctuary (Random House, 2021), The Still Point of the Turning World (Penguin Press), and Poster Child: A Memoir (Bloomsbury USA). She is currently Associate Professor of Creative Writing at the University of California-Riverside, where she also teaches medical narratives in the School of Medicine. Frida and My Left Leg, which explores art and disability through the life of Frida Kahlo, was published by Nottinghill Editions in 2021.
