Ellen Litman

Ellen Litman’s first novel, The Last Chicken in America: A Novel in Stories (W.W. Norton, 2008), was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times First Book Award and the NYPL’s Young Lions Fiction Award. Her work has appeared in Best New American Voices, Best of Tin House, Triquarterly, and Ploughshares. Born in Moscow, she is an assistant professor of English and the associate director of creative writing at UConn, Storrs.
