LB Thompson

LB Thompson received her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and her M.F.A. from NYU. Her chapbook, Tendered Notes: Poems of Love and Money (2003) won the Center For Book Arts Prize. Her poems and essays have been published in The New Yorker, Prairie Schooner, and Stonecutter as well as other literary magazines and websites. She has completed a collection of poems entitled The Dark Skirt of the Universe, and is working on a novel and a book of essays. She received a 2010 Whiting Writer’s Award.
