Michelle Tea

Michelle Tea is an award-winning memoirist and novelist. She is the founder of RADAR Productions and the international Sister Spit performance tours. Her most recent books include How to Grow Up: A Memoir (Plume, 2015), Black Wave (Feminist Press, 2016), a fiction-memoir hybrid; Modern Tarot: Connecting with Your Higher Self Through the Wisdom of the Cards (HarperCollins, 2017); and Against Memoir (Feminist Press, 2018). She received a 2021 Guggenheim Fellowship in general nonfiction.
